9 Days for Life Novena9 Days for Life is a novena for the protection of human life. Each day’s intention is accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions to help build a culture of life.
This novena begins on Thursday, January 16, 2025 and ends on Friday, January 24, 2025, the day of the March for Life. You may view the novena or sign up to receive email or text messages at the USCCB website:

March for Life 2025Since the Roe v. Wade decision on January 22, 1973, there has been a March for Life in Washington D.C. every January. On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, sending the decision to the states. Nonetheless, the March for Life has continued and will again take place on Friday, January 24, 2025.
One can participate in defense of all human life in the following ways:
- Attend the March for Life in D.C. St. Maria Goretti, Hatfield, PA has a bus departing 6:30am on Friday, January 24, 2025. To reserve a seat, please contact Alyson Maguire at [email protected]
- View live broadcasts of the March for Life via EWTN on Friday, January 24 or the Masses from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in D.C. on Thursday evening or Friday morning, January 23-24
- Attend the 9:00am Mass on Friday, January 24th at St. Jude or another weekday local parish Mass to pray for the unborn, their mothers and fathers, all pregnant women, and all women suffering from an abortion
- Make a morning offering or a rosary intention for the dignity and sanctity of all human life, most especially the unborn

2024 Legacy of Life Baby Bottle Fundraiser Update
Father Costa and the Respect Life Ministry are grateful for the amazing gift of all the St. Jude families to the Legacy of Life Foundation (LOLF) during October 2024's Respect Life Month. A total of $3,705.09 (before the 100% match) was contributed in support of the mission of LOLF and its Baby Bottle Drive. Thank you!

OUR MISSION
The Respect Life Ministry supports Catholic Church teaching on the sanctity and inherent value of all human life from conception to natural death. We do this by way of prayer, public witness, and raising funds for Crisis Pregnancy Centers in our area as a tangible way to save lives.
The primary events sponsored by the Respect Life ministry are:- Journey to Washington, DC for the National March for Life in January
- Mother’s Day Rose Sale in May to support Crisis Pregnancy Centers
- Journey to Harrisburg for the PA March for Life in September
- Baby Bottle fundraiser in October during Respect Life Month
