Coordinator of Ministry with Youth and Young Adultsabennettstjudechalfont.orgI’m very excited to be a new member of the St. Jude Parish Staff! Originally from Wayne, Delaware County, I graduated from Radnor High School in 2013. While in high school, I experienced a reversion to my Catholic faith while attending the youth ministry at St. Norbert Parish (Paoli). This led me to Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) where I graduated with a B.A. in Theology and Catechetics and a concentration in Youth Ministry. I am also currently pursuing an M.A. in Pastoral Theology at the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO.
I have been working for the past 7 years in different aspects of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, from being the Youth and Young Adult Ministry intern at St. Norbert, to being the Campus Minister at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, to being the Director of Transfigure Young Adults of Bucks County, and many other roles in between! I’m the biggest supporter of both St. John Bosco and Dunkin' and have lived in all five counties of the Philadelphia area. I’m currently a parishioner at St. Andrew in Newtown and reside in a Catholic Women's community in Philadelphia with six housemates and one pet fish. You might see me around singing, playing guitar, drinking an absurd amount of coffee, working on my graduate school assignments, or planning wonderful things for the middle and high school students and young adults of the St. Jude family!
