Madeleine Iaquinto is the Director of Music and Coordinator of Liturgy. Growing up in Langhorne, PA, she began participating in church choirs and handbell choirs at the age of 5 and grew to love the liturgy at a young age through music ministry. Madeleine's last appointment was with St. Andrew Catholic Church in Newtown, where she served as the principal organist for over five years. She has also worked at several schools in the greater Philadelphia area teaching choir and general music to all grade levels.
Madeleine holds a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University and Bachelor of Music (B.M.) Degrees in Piano Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College. She has also studied the Kodály teaching methodology and choral conducting at West Chester University and Westminster Choir College. Her additional areas of study include organ performance, vocal performance and pedagogy, music theory, music literacy, and the female changing voice.
Madeleine currently lives in Doylestown with her husband and in addition to her musical hobbies, enjoys taking walks, drinking bubble tea, and listening to lots of Catholic podcasts. She is very excited to be working at St. Jude with an incredible community of people!
