Parochial Vicarfrrchinedustjudechalfont.orgFr. Rupert is a priest of the Catholic diocese of Minna in Nigeria. Father comes from a large Catholic family from the southeast part of Nigeria but was ordained and was serving as priest in the north, which is primarily Muslim, “where the laborers for the Lord’s vineyard were few.” Because of the terrorist attacks and persecution directed especially at Catholics and particularly against priests, he has been transferred to our archdiocese for the time-being, with special dedication to the Mother of God and the possibility of being incardinated here.
Fr. Rupert has a special interest in education, having two Masters and two PhDs in Educational Administration and Planning and in Educational Psychology, as well as two post-graduate diplomas in Education and in Public Administration. Fr. Rupert is very grateful for the warm welcome he has received in the archdiocese and most especially at St. Jude Church!
