Born in Chester, PA, Fr. Costa studied accounting and received his BS at Widener University before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and being ordained to the priesthood in 1990.  After being a parochial vicar from 1990 to 1997, Father was sent to Rome, Italy for graduate studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas. Upon returning, Fr. Costa held several positions at the seminary from 2000 to 2012: Director of Spiritual Formation, Spirituality Year Program; Academic Dean, Religious Studies Division; and Director of Spiritual Formation, College Division.

Since then, Fr. Costa has been Pastor at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Springfield and at St. Agnes Parish in West Chester. He is happy to now call St. Jude Parish home!
