Welcome Mrs. Nicole Carter Jesus has once again BLESSED St. Jude Parish. We have a new principal for St. Jude School. Mrs. Nicole Carter has accepted my offer to join our school community as our next principal. I believe that her knowledge, skills, experience, and deep Catholic faith are an ideal fit for our school.
The St. Jude School Principal Search Committee, chaired by Deacon Tim Lynch, worked for the past two months to prepare for the interviews of various candidates. This Search Committee was composed of parishioners who are professionals and were well prepared for the task. What is so special about the selection is that every member of the Search Team unanimously approved the choice of Mrs. Carter and gave her the highest recommendations that I have ever seen. Yes, Jesus has shone his light upon the face of St. Jude Parish and School.
Please see below the announcement that Sister Elizabeth sent to the St. Jude School parents and guardians this past Monday night.
God Bless! Monsignor Frances W. Beach, Pastor
Dear Parents and Guardians of our St. Jude School Students, With a grateful heart, I bring you the good news that our St. Jude School Principal Search Committee completed its task of selecting the next principal of St. Jude School. Our dedicated search team worked tirelessly with a thorough, detailed, and intentional plan in conjunction with the Office of Catholic Education leadership. After careful consideration and prayerful consultation, the team members were unanimous in their recommendation for Mrs. Nicole Carter to be offered the role of principal. Monsignor Beach met with Mrs. Carter and happily and confidently confirmed the team’s decision.
With joy, we welcome Mrs. Nicole Carter to our St. Jude family in the position of principal beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year. Mrs. Carter is passionate about Catholic education and has an extensive experience as a teacher in Catholic schools. Mrs. Carter applied for the open position at SJS “because she believes that God is calling her to be a transformational Catholic School leader.” Her educational background, various teaching and leadership roles, commitment to our Catholic faith, and most importantly, her strong desire to serve God in the mission of Catholic School leadership make her stand out as the ideal leader for St. Jude School.
In the words of the members of the Principal Search Committee, “our team found Mrs. Carter extremely professional, warm, and very well educated. Her Catholic identity is extremely impressive and authentic. She will make a wonderful collaborator with parish administration, faculty, staff, parents, and students. In addition, she has a heart of Mercy which positions her perfectly to continue the school’s Mercy charism and represents the future of St. Jude School!”
I look forward to meeting Mrs. Carter in the upcoming weeks as we plan a smooth transition process. It is my privilege to share with Mrs. Carter the good news about our outstanding SJS students, faculty, staff, parents, and our parish faith community.
I thank you, dear parents and guardians, for your dedication, support, loyalty, and love for our St. Jude School family. With God’s Divine Providence and tender loving Mercy, St. Jude School will continue to be a beacon of faith, hope, and love for our children now and in the future!
