Giving Tree, November 18 - December 15
Once again, we call upon the generous members of St. Jude's parish to make this Christmas special for the children of St. Benedict/St. Athanasius Parish, Cradles to Crayons, and the residents of Holy Family Home.
The St. Jude Parish Youth Ministry members have prepared "Gift Tags" for the Christmas Tree/Wreath. Please take a tag and purchase the gift suggested on the tag. Note that we will not be collecting any children's or baby toys, Lego's, games, dolls, or sporting good equipment this year.
Please return all gifts (new and unwrapped) by Sunday, December 15th so they can be sorted and distributed. Boxes for drop-off can be found in the church narthex and chapel areas.

Holy Family Home
(Little Sisters of the Poor)
The Little Sisters of the Poor live at Holy Family Home and are privileged to serve their residents 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The items that would be the greatest blessing to the residents include:- DEPENDS Pull-Up briefs for women, sizes medium and large

- Chocolate candies without nuts
- Diabetic candies

St. Benedict St. Athanasius Parish
Purchase a Gift Card (physical card) that will be distributed to each of the children of St. Benedict’s parish at the Christmas Eve worship service.
St. Benedict and St. Athanasius parishes merged in 2013 but worship continues at St. Benedict’s parish.

Philadelphia is the nation’s poorest big city with more than 300,000 children living in poverty across the region. Cradles to Crayons helps over 70,000 children ages infant to 12 each year by providing new and gently used clothing, school supplies, and other essential items.
The items we are collecting for Cradles to Crayons are:- New pajamas, socks, and underwear in sizes Infant to Youth 18/20
- New pajamas, socks, and underwear in adult sizes small and medium
