Solemnity of the Ascension
Thursday May 29, 2025Ascension Thursday is HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION. In this video, Bishop Barron explains that we are not spirits trapped in bodies that we need to escape from. Heaven and earth are entwined, and the Ascension is the first step to bringing God's Kingdom to Earth. This is great news!
There is no Adoration or veneration of the relics on this day.
